Initialize arrays with fixed strings

2011/02/17

You can use a @-string to initialize an array of strings that are separated by carriage returns

$vehicle = @’
Unknown
Other
Car
Truck
Bike
Horse
‘@.Split(([char]10))

This creates an array where $vehicle[0] is “Unknown”,  $vehicle[1] is “Other”.
